2012: Appeared in 12 games, making two starts…tossed 18.1 innings…recorded a 5.89 ERA (fourth on the team among players with at least 15 innings pitched)…struck out 13 batters…struck out one in one scoreless inning of relief work at Pace on March 2…struck out two hitters in one scoreless inning against Pitt-Johnstown on March 8…struck out two batters in two innings, allowing one earned run, against Philadelphia on March 12…pitched a clean frame with one strikeout at Queens on April 20…struck out three batters, allowing just one hit and a walk, in 2.1 innings against C.W. Post on April 27.

2011: Made five appearances…posted a 6.75 ERA over eight innings pitched…struck out three and walked three…pitched 3.2 innings against Molloy on April 8, giving up two hits and a walk while striking one out.

2010: Redshirted.

2009: Made 15 appearances…posted a 3-2 record…led all starters with a 3.38 ERA…earned one save…threw 21.1 innings…struck out 14 and walked 17.

Prior to Mercy: Captained the baseball team...named to the CHSAA All-City team...played club ball for the Richmond Indians.

Personal: Son of Raymond and Gretchen Thaisz...has one sister, Lindsay (25)...majoring in sports management.
