McClure had a strong month in goal for the Mavericks, going 5-1 with 35 saves, a .875 save percentage, a 0.91 goals-against average and two shutouts as Mercy went 5-2 during the month. The junior was named NE10 Goalie of the Week twice during the month and helped lead the Mavericks to their best start in program history. She opened the season with five saves to earn the shutout win in Mercy’s 1-0 win over Roberts Wesleyan on September 6th. McClure then combined to make 13 saves with three goals allowed in wins over D’Youville and Saint Michael’s on September 14th and 15th. The goalie ended the month with a career-high 15 saves and just two goals allowed at No. 6 Assumption on September 28th.
