Mercy University Athletics

Mooradian had a strong month of March for the Mavericks, leading the team with a .413 average and 14 stolen bases during the month. The junior also had 14 runs scored and 12 RBI as Mercy went 10-8 during the month. The shortstop opened the month going 3-for 7 with two runs and an RBI in a doubleheader against Le Moyne on March 3rd. Mooradian then went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI in the Mavericks win over Virginia State on March 10th. Mooradian continued his strong play against Concordia on March 12th, going 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBI in Mercy’s win. The shortstop opened ECC play going 3-for-4 with two RBI in Mercy’s win over Queens on March 22nd. The junior went 2-for-4 with two RBI in game one against Bridgeport on March 29th and went 4-for-7 with two runs in a doubleheader against Bridgeport on March 30th. The junior ended the month on an eight-game hitting streak and had nine multi-hit games.
