Pettit was a force in the cage for the Mavericks going 4-2 with a 1.32 goals against average, 48 saves and a .857 save percentage. The junior recorded five or more saves in all but one of the seven games she played and had a month-high ten saves in Mercy’s 1-0 overtime win over Bellarmine on October 14th. The five-time Defensive Player of the Week picked up her first win of the month with seven saves in a shutout victory over St. Thomas Aquinas on October 10th. Pettit later picked up another shutout victory with two saves in the Mavericks 1-0 win over Belmont Abbey on October 19th. The junior recorded her final shutout victory of the season on October 28th when she made six saves in the first half of the Mavericks 2-0 triumph over Molloy in their season finale.
