Mercy University Athletics

Jones helped lead the Mavericks to a 4-3-1 month of September with two goals, two assists and six points in eight games. The senior scored his first goal of the season in the Mavericks 3-1 win over perennial East Region power Adelphi on September 8th. Jones then assisted on the game-winning goal in Mercy’s 1-0 win over Saint Rose on September 15th. He picked up his second goal of the season on September 25th in the Mavericks 2-2 tie at Roberts Wesleyan. Jones ended the month with an assist against Bridgeport on September 29th. The senior currently leads the team in goals and points on the year.
