Elvestad continued his strong play in the month of November, helping lead the Mavericks to their second ECC Championship in three seasons and their third NCAA Tournament berth in four seasons. Elvestad went 1-1-1 during the month with 22 saves, a .786 save percentage and 1.74 goals-against average. The sophomore made five saves in the Mavericks 3-2 overtime win over Queens in the ECC Semifinals on November 3rd. The goalkeeper followed that up with seven saves and just one goal allowed as the Mavericks defeated Molloy in penalty kicks to win the ECC Championship on November 6th. Elvestad ended the month and season with a career-high 10 saves in Mercy’s NCAA Tournament Second Round loss to Davis & Elkins on November 12th. The sophomore was named ECC Co-Goalkeeper of the Year and First Team All-ECC. He also was named Second Team All-Region by the D2CCA and was tabbed Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators. Elvestad ended the season with an 11-2-5 record, 64 saves and a 0.95 goals-against average.
