WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (Oct. 25, 2021) – Mercy College volleyball junior Larissa Schneid (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Iowa Western CC) has been named to the East Coast Conference (ECC) Volleyball Honor Roll for Week Eight.

Schneid had a team-high 31 kills, 29 digs, and eight aces as Mercy went 2-1 on the week. The junior opened the week with 14 kills and 13 digs in the win over Caldwell on Tuesday. Schneid then had seven kills and 12 digs at Wilmington on Thursday before ending the week with 10 kills and four digs in the win over Roberts Wesleyan on Saturday.

The award is the eighth earned by Schneid and the Mavericks have earned 17 awards on the year.

Head Coach Gary Preston Jr. and the Mavericks resume action tomorrow when they play at Molloy at 7 p.m.
