DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Nov. 8, 2023) – The Mercy University volleyball team has been ranked eighth in the second NCAA East Regional Rankings, which are used to determine at-large bids for the NCAA Championship.

The Mavericks are in the rankings for the second straight week. Eight teams are taken from the East Region to make up the tournament field. The ECC, CACC and NE10 conference tournament winners earn automatic bids, leaving five at-large bids into the tournament. Mercy looks to qualify for the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2005 and currently sits at 12-7.

Head Coach Ana Todorovic and the Mavericks resume action tomorrow when they host AIC at 6 p.m.
