DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Nov. 6, 2024) – The Mercy University men's soccer team has been ranked ninth in the second NCAA Super-Region 1 Regional Rankings, which are used to determine at-large bids for the NCAA Championship.

Ten teams are taken from Super-Region 1 to make up the tournament field. The ECC, CACC, NE10, PSAC and MEC conference tournament winners earn automatic bids, leaving five at-large bids into the tournament. Mercy looks to qualify for the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in six seasons and currently sits at 9-2-5 on the year.

Head Coach Pedro Velazquez and the Mavericks resume action on Sunday when they host the winner of Roberts Wesleyan/UDC in an ECC Championship Semifinal at 1 p.m.
