WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (Mar. 11, 2024) – Mercy University women's lacrosse junior Leah Hansen (Greenlawn, N.Y./Harborfields) has been named the East Coast Conference (ECC) Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for Week Four.

Hansen had a team-high 10 goals and 11 points with two ground balls and two caused turnovers in two games, both against Top 5 teams in the country this week. The junior opened the week with a game-high five goals to go along with one ground ball and one caused turnover against #4 Tampa on Thursday. Hansen ended the week with a team-high six points on five goals and one assist to go with a ground ball and caused turnover against #5 Florida Southern on Saturday.

The junior earns Offensive Player of the Week for the second straight week and Mercy has now earned five awards on the year.

Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks resume action on Saturday, March 16th when they play at Bloomsburg at 1 p.m.
