DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Mar. 25, 2024) – The Mercy University women's lacrosse team is receiving votes nationally in the ILWomen/IWLCA Division II Top 25 Poll.

The Mavericks drop out of the poll after being ranked No. 23 last week. Mercy went 1-1 last week, dropping a 10-9 decision at Assumption on Wednesday before earning an 18-0 win over UDC on Friday. The Mavericks were led by junior Leah Hansen who had a team-high six points and by junior Lindsey Shimborske who had a team-high 20 draw controls.

Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday, March 27th when they play at STAC at 3 p.m.
