DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Volleyball Team has been ranked third in the second NCAA East Region Regional Rankings, which are used to determine at-large bids for the NCAA Championship.

Mercy is in the rankings for the second straight week after going 2-1 last week with wins over American International and Daemen and a loss to D'Youville. Eight teams are taken from the East Region to make up the tournament field. The ECC, CACC and NE10 conference tournament winners earn automatic bids, leaving five at-large bids into the tournament. Mercy looks to qualify for the NCAA Tournament for the third straight year and is 16-4 on the year.
