DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – Mercy University Women's Soccer seniors Ella Brower (Huntington Station, N.Y./College of Saint Rose) and Ancksu Dixon (Freeport, N.Y./Freeport), juniors Sarah Lill Hanks (Skedsmokorset, Norway/High Point University) and Ella Gallino (Middlebury, Conn./Pomperaug) and sophomore Hailey Metzger (Levittown, N.Y./MacArthur) have been named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division II Women's Soccer Academic All-District Team.
Brower is named All-District for the second straight year. The senior has a 3.77 GPA as a Criminal Justice major. Brower was named Third Team All-ECC and appeared in all 21 games making 20 starts with one assist in 1,630 minutes played.
Dixon takes home All-District honors for the third consecutive year. The senior has a 3.51 GPA as an Exercise Science major. The forward was named First Team All-ECC after leading the team with 13 goals and 31 points. Dixon set the school record for career goals and points during the season.
Hanks receives All-District honors following her first season as a Mavericks. The junior has a 3.75 GPA as a Psychology major. The defender was named ECC Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-ECC after starting all 21 games with three assists in 1,892 minutes played.
Gallino is tabbed All-District for the first time. The junior has a 3.89 GPA as a Biology major. Gallino played in all 21 games with three goals and one assist.
Metzger is named All-District for the first time. The sophomore has a 3.76 GPA as a Veterinary Technology major. The forward was named Second Team All-ECC and ECC Offensive Player of the Week twice after recording nine goals, 12 assists and 30 points. Metzger led the ECC in assists and tied the single season school record in assists.
