DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Mar. 17, 2025) – The Mercy University women's lacrosse team has been ranked No. 23 nationally in the IWLCA Division II Top 25 Poll.
The Mavericks remain the same in the poll after being idle last week. Mercy is currently 3-2 on the year and have been led by senior Leah Hansen who has a team-high 20 points on 16 goals and four assists and by senior Lindsey Shimborske who has a team-high 44 draw controls, 13 caused turnovers and 15 ground balls. Mercy is the lone ECC school in the poll.
Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks resume action today when they complete their game against #1 Tampa at 1 p.m.
