DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Mar. 24, 2025) – The Mercy University women's lacrosse team has been ranked No. 23 nationally in the IWLCA Division II Top 25 Poll for the fourth straight week.
The Mavericks remain the same in the poll after going 0-2 last week against No. 1 Tampa and No. 2 Florida Southern. Mercy is currently 3-4 on the year and have been led by senior Leah Hansen who has a team-high 22 points on 18 goals and four assists and by senior Lindsey Shimborske who has a team-high 52 draw controls, 19 caused turnovers and 28 ground balls. Mercy is the lone ECC school in the poll.
Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday when they play at Jefferson at 3 p.m.
