DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Mar. 31, 2025) - The Mercy University women's lacrosse team has been ranked No. 23 nationally in the IWLCA Division II Top 25 Poll for the fifth straight week.
The Mavericks remain the same in the poll after going 2-0 last week with wins over Jefferson and Daemen. Mercy is currently 5-4 on the year and have been led by senior Leah Hansen who has a team-high 26 goals and 31 points. Senior Lindsey Shimborske has a team-high 69 draw controls, 34 ground balls and 22 caused turnovers. Mercy is the lone ECC school in the poll.
Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks resume action on Saturday when they play at Molloy at 11 am.
