DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Apr. 14, 2025) – The Mercy University women's lacrosse team has been ranked No. 25 nationally in the IWLCA Division II Top 25 Poll.

The Mavericks remain the same in the poll after going 2-0 last week with wins over STAC and D'Youville. Mercy is currently 7-5 on the year and have been led by senior Leah Hansen who has a team-high 37 goals, 12 assists and 49 points. Senior Lindsey Shimborske has a team-high 92 draw controls, 42 ground balls and 30 caused turnovers. Mercy is the lone ECC school in the poll.

Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday, April 16th when they play at Pace at 7 p.m.
