DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Apr. 28, 2025) – The Mercy University women's lacrosse team is receiving votes nationally in the IWLCA Division II Top 25 Poll.

The Mavericks drop out of the poll after going 1-0 last week with a 10-8 win over Roberts Wesleyan on Sunday. Mercy is currently 9-6 on the year and have been led by senior Leah Hansen who has a team-high 48 goals and 65 points. Senior Lindsey Shimborske has a team-high 112 draw controls, 57 ground balls and 36 caused turnovers.

Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday when they host Daemen in an ECC Championship Semifinal at 12 p.m.
