DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Apr. 7, 2025) – The Mercy University women's lacrosse team has been ranked No. 25 nationally in the IWLCA Division II Top 25 Poll.
The Mavericks drop two spots in the poll after going 0-1 last week with a 19-18 overtime loss at Molloy on Saturday. Mercy is currently 5-5 on the year and have been led by senior Leah Hansen who has a team-high 28 goals and 34 points. Senior Lindsey Shimborske has a team-high 79 draw controls, 26 caused turnovers and 37 ground balls. Mercy is the lone ECC school in the poll.
Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday when they host STAC at 3 p.m.
