DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – Mercy University Men's Lacrosse junior Jake Norton (Farmingdale, N.Y./Farmingdale) has been named United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division II Preseason Third Team All-American.

Norton is named Preseason All-American for the first time in his career. The junior was named USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American Honorable Mention last season. Norton earned First Team All-ECC honors last season after ending the 2025 season with six assists, 35 ground balls and six caused turnovers in 12 games.

Head Coach Ryan MacSpadyen and the Mavericks open their 2026 season on Saturday, February 14th at Assumption at 1 p.m.
