Women's Lacrosse Nationally Ranked in IWLCA and USA Lacrosse Magazine Polls

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Women's Lacrosse Team is ranked No. 15 nationally in the USA Lacrosse Magazine Top 20 Poll and No. 18 nationally in the IWLCA Top 25 Poll.

Mercy drops two spots in the USA Lacrosse Magazine Poll and remains the same in the IWLCA Poll after going 1-1 last week with a loss at No. 12 Adelphi and a win over District of Columbia. The Mavericks are currently 12-3 on the year and have been led by freshman Jessica Grzelaczyk who has a team-high 56 points on 33 goals and 23 assists. Sophomore Ashlinn Kelly has 38 goals, 17 assists, 21 caused turnovers and 33 draw controls and senior Emily Marino has a team-high 28 caused turnovers and 34 ground balls. Mercy is the lone ECC school in both polls.

Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks resume action on Saturday, April 25th when they host D'Youville for Senior Day at 11 a.m.
