DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Women's Lacrosse Team has been ranked third in the second NCAA East Regional Rankings released earlier today.

Six teams are taken from the East, Atlantic, Midwest and South Regions to make up the tournament field. The winners of the ECC, CACC and NE10 Conference Tournaments earn automatic bids to the tournament from the East Region. Mercy looks to qualify for the program's fifth-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament and the first since 2022. The Mavericks are currently 12-3 on the year and are ranked No. 18 nationally in the IWLCA Poll.

Head Coach Dawn Sachs and the Mavericks resume action on Saturday, April 25th when they host D'Youville for Senior Day at 11 a.m.
