Men's Lacrosse Receiving Votes Nationally in Final USILA Poll

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Men's Lacrosse Team is receiving votes nationally in the final United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division II Top 20 Poll.

The Mavericks ended the 2026 season 9-6, qualifying for the ECC Championship for the 11th straight season.

Head Coach Ryan MacSpadyen and the Mavericks were led by junior Christopher Bergersen who was named USILA Third Team All-Region and by sophomores Cole Hunsberger, Nicholas Filocamo and Liam Neimeth who received All-Region Honorable Mention. Bergersen recorded nine goals, 17 assists, 26 points and 18 ground balls, Hunsberger added a team-high 67 points on 31 goals and a team-high 36 assists. Filocamo had a team-high 21 caused turnovers with 37 ground balls and Neimeth added 37 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers.
