As A Junior (2009-10): Played in 17 games … posted 66 points, shooting 45.2% from the floor … grabbed 60 rebounds … tallied 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds at Molloy (Feb. 24) … scored eight points vs. Bridgeport on Feb. 13.

As A Sophomore (2008-09): Played in 13 games … posted 25 points, 25 rebounds … tallied eight points at Philadelphia U. (Jan. 4) … tallied another six points at Caldwell (Dec. 20).

Before Mercy: Earned three varsity letters at Kolbe Cathedral high school as a power forward, playing for coaches John Fhol and C.J. Shamus ... averaged 2.1 points and 2 rebounds per game.

Personal: Born Desentrie O. Allen in Jamaica … son of Dornat and Desentrie Allen … has four siblings, Roland Thomas (32), Troy Allen (27), Kassandra Allen (17), and Croyce Allen (10) … a health sciences major … future plans include opening his own physical therapy practice … enjoys video games, bowling, watching tv and hanging out with his friends … denotes Michael Jordan and his mother as the most influential people in his athletic career … spends a lot of his time at the Hudson View Café, his favorite spot on Mercy’s campus.
