KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 18, 2017) – The Mercy College women's soccer team is ranked No. 23 in the nation in the latest release of the United Soccer Coaches Division II national Top 25 poll on Tuesday.

Regional Rankings
The Mavericks are 12-1 on the year and have won ten games in a row. Mercy enters the rankings for the first time this season after receiving votes the previous two weeks. Head Coach Jonathan Feinstein and the Mavericks are also currently ranked second in the first East Regional Rankings released earlier today. Six teams are taken from each region to make up the tournament field with the conference tournament winners of the CACC, Northeast-10 and ECC receiving automatic bids into the tournament from the East Region.
Mercy looks to qualify for the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2014 when they advanced to the East Region Final and ended the season with a school-record 17 wins. The Mavericks also sit at 5-0 in ECC play looking to secure their first ECC Championship since 2014.
Sophomore Ally Boots has led the Mavericks throughout the year with nine goals, three assists and 21 points. The forward has recorded five game-winning goals and is among the ECC leaders in goals and points.
