WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (Oct. 17, 2022) – Mercy College women's soccer freshman Ancksu Dixon (Freeport, N.Y./Freeport) has been named the East Coast Conference (ECC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week and junior Kayla Camacho (Valley Stream, N.Y./Valley Stream) has been tabbed to the Honor Roll for Week Eight.

Dixon had a team-high three goals and seven points as Mercy went 1-1 on the week. The freshman scored a goal at Bentley on Monday before ending the week with two goals and an assist in the win over Staten Island on Saturday.

Camacho had a game-high-tying five points on two goals and an assist in the win over Staten Island on Saturday.

The awards are the fourth earned by Dixon and Camacho. Mercy has now earned 15 awards on the year.

Head Coach Danny Leon Jr. and the Mavericks resume action on Wednesday, October 19th when they play at Lincoln at 3 p.m.
