COLONIA, N.J. – Mercy University Women's Soccer freshman Camila Salvador (Santiago, Chile/Santiago College) has been named the East Coast Conference (ECC) Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week for the third time and sophomore Hailey Metzger (Levittown, N.Y./MacArthur) has been tabbed to the Honor Roll for Week Nine.

Salvador scored the second early goal to help kick off the scoring momentum in Mercy's 6-2 win at D'Youville on Saturday that clinched the ECC Regular Season Championship title for the Mavericks. 

Metzger scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in Mercy's 6-2 win at D'Youville on Saturday that clinched the ECC Regular Season Championship for the Mavericks. 

The award is the fourth for Salvador this season and the third for Metzger this season. Mercy has now earned 21 awards on the year.

Head Coach Jack Nicholson and the Mavericks resume action on Sunday when they host the winner of Daemen/Queens in an ECC Championship Semifinal at 1 p.m.
