Women's Soccer Ranked First in NCAA Regional Rankings

DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Women's Soccer Team has been ranked first in the second NCAA East Region Regional Rankings, which are used to determine at-large bids for the NCAA Championship.

Mercy is in the rankings for the second straight week after going 1-1 last week with a loss to Franklin Pierce and a win over D'Youville. Six teams are taken from the East Region to make up the tournament field. The ECC, CACC and NE10 conference tournament winners earn automatic bids, leaving three at-large bids into the tournament. Mercy looks to qualify for the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2022 and is 13-2-2 on the year.
