DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Mercy University Baseball Team is ranked No. 8 in the latest National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) East Region Top 10 Poll.
Mercy drops two spots in the poll after going 0-4 last week against Pace. The Mavericks are currently 6-8 on the year and have been led by sophomore Matthew Hesselbirg who is hitting a team-high .400. Sophomore Ryan DiNapoli is 2-1 on the mound with a 1.69 ERA in 16.0 innings.
Head Coach Chris Schoen and the Mavericks resume action on Friday, March 13th when they host D'Youville for a doubleheader at 12 p.m.
